Balancing my porfolio
Was previously too top heavy on UK Banks, sold BT & Barclays (prematurely at 220) to fund Standard Chartered & Xstrata a global mining group. After actively monitoring both stocks throughout the recent downturn, i managed to get in at the bottom of the cyclical cycle. Both stocks, especially Xstrata are undervalued in my opinion.
Xstrata - 1750 shares @ 499.68p
Standard Charterd - 1000 shares @ 914.97p
Fast forward 2 weeks both stocks have soared, current portfolio currently stands at:

South Africa vs. Australia

Lack of discipline once again: dead rubber Australia already 2-0 up in the series but following cricinfo at work i decide to lay SA @ 1.6ish anticipating a couple of wickets in a tricky final hour.
6pm: Aus 210all out SA 59/0
SA 1.49
Needless to say traded out on day one.

Bendtner to be at Arsenal Next Season @ 2/1
Christmas has come early! SkyBet are offering a staggering 2/1 that the Danish sensation remains at Arsenal next season. I would price this in the region of 1.4ish so this represents VALUE.
Forced to make a special exception to my staking plan for this bet - £155 staked.

Champions League | Last 16
Arsenal defence has shored up in recent weeks with 5 clean sheets on the trot. The correct price should be around 2.2ish so at 2.5 this represents value.

New Innings Runs Strategy pt. II

After 3 months of rigorous testing (both in the longer & shorter versions of the game) it is official: my innings runs strategy is akin to printing money.

New Innings Runs Market Strategy Paying Dividends

Information on football markets is readily available reflecting in prices becoming more efficient, prices now reflect the relative risk endured - result in some 'correct' prices offered. Over the last week or so I have been perfecting my new cricket strategy with small stakes. The innings runs market is one where I believe i have more of an edge than other punters. The plan is to carry on experimenting before increasing my exposure and hopefully profit.
